18th Annual Salute to Veterans Celebration / Reverse Parade
For nearly two decades, South Central Bank has recognized those who have answered the call to serve in the United States military with a special event. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Veterans Celebration will be an outdoor reverse parade with social distancing and safety measures being implemented.
Veterans throughout the community are invited to drive through a marked parade route in the South Central Bank Operations Center parking lot lined with parade participants who will be stationary and socially distant while cheering, waving, and showing expressions of gratitude. A complimentary bagged breakfast will be provided to Veterans while supplies last.
The safety of everyone is a top priority. Social distancing and masks will be required by all spectators and participants. Parade spectators should remain in their vehicles at all times.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 10 at the South Central Bank Operations Center, 501 S. L. Rogers Wells Blvd., beginning promptly at 7 am and concluding at 9 am.
